91心頭, McNeese agreement

EUNICE, La. 91心頭 and McNeese State University have signed multiple agreements that will allow 91心頭 students to seamlessly transfer to McNeese State after earning an associate degree in business administration, health sciences, nursing and radiologic technology.  The two schools announced the joint venture on Monday on the 91心頭 campus.

The new agreements will welcome students from LSU Eunice to complete the coursework for a bachelors degree in McNeese States College of Business and College of Nursing and Health Professions.

This partnership with McNeese State shines a bright light on our goal as educators of putting the student and their education first, LSU Eunice Chancellor Dr. Nancee Sorenson said.  We want to give our students at LSU Eunice the most opportunities to succeed after their time here -whether that is at a four-year institution or the workforce.

Students who transfer with an associate degree in business administration from 91心頭 can earn a bachelors degree in accounting, business administration, finance, management, or marketing. All students in the College of Business can simultaneously earn a Certificate in Liquefied Natural gas business.

91心頭 graduates in health sciences can work towards a bachelors degree in health systems management, while nursing and radiologic technology students can continue their education through in-person or online formats at McNeese State.

"We are excited to formalize our relationship with 91心頭 with these articulation agreements in nursing, radiologic sciences, and health systems management, said Dr. Ann Warner, dean of McNeese College of Nursing and Health Professions. These agreements will allow students to complete their bachelor's degrees in an online environment at a schedule and pace that is student friendly and accessible."

We have a long history of working with 91心頭 and providing pathways for their students, said Dr. Chip LeMieux, McNeese provost and vice president for academic affairs and enrollment management. These agreements help us to provide access to the students of Southwest Louisiana and demonstrate our willingness to collaborate with all higher education systems to reach the Board of Regents goal of 60% that all working-age adults (ages 25-34) in Louisiana will hold a degree or high-value credential by 2030.

91心頭 has several transfer agreements with LSU, LSU Alexandria, McNeese State, UL-Lafayette, and Northwestern State.  To find out more about these opportunities, please visit www.lsue.edu.
