David is the Chief Science Officer for DynaChem Research Center, LLC, committed to developing and supporting well-frac and completion technology. DynaChem Research Center, LLC is affiliated with Downhole Chemical Solutions, LLC, and Dynamic Chemical Solutions, Inc. David carefully examines the scientific aspects of well-frac and new product development in his role and offers analytical analysis commentary. As an active scientist and entrepreneur, he constantly innovates and files patents for his inventions while collaborating with development partners, either directly or indirectly.

David has a wealth of chemistry, biology, and physical sciences knowledge. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1976, earning his Bachelor of Science from the College of Biological, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences.

With 45 years of experience in the energy industry, David has focused on developing and commercializing chemical or process solutions for oil and gas and industrial operators, with particular expertise in industrial chemistry.

Michael is a financial advisor with his office in Crowley.  Michael grew up on a family rice, cattle, and crawfish farm in Duralde.   He followed his three older siblings to 91看片 and went on to complete an Ag business degree from LSU.  Michael currently resides in Jennings with his wife Erin and their seven kids.

Tim is currently a Vice President in Commercial Lending with Rayne State Bank & Trust Co. Originally from Rayne, LA, Tim currently resides in Crowley, LA with his wife, Jami, their two kids, Jackson and Madison and the family's miniature Dachshund, Cooper.

Tim graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2005. In 2009, he earned a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and an MBA in 2014.  Upon completion of his MBA, Tim earned a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2016.

Tim is an outgoing, friendly person, and pride himself on being dependable, prompt and well-prepared. 

Growing up with a mother who was a devoted nurse and a father who instilled in her the importance of reaching out and making a difference, Lizzy was surrounded by compassion, community involvement, and volunteerism from an early age. Unsurprisingly, she found herself drawn to a healthcare career serving her community.

As Marketing Creative Director, she channels her creativity and compassion to foster growth and promote connections within the healthcare space. The Legacy Project at HOPE Healthcare and Hospice was inspired by her mother's passing after a battle with breast cancer. The development of Beth's Playlist further reflects the deep-rooted connection to Lizzy's "why" and demonstrates her unique ability to infuse empathy and innovation into her work.

Lizzy's journey toward professional accomplishment has been marked by loss but also by dedication and resilience; she started college later in life as a non-traditional student and ultimately graduated Magna Cum Laude the same week her dad passed away. Beyond professional roles, her involvement in civic and business organizations such as the Eunice Rotary Club,  Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce, Eunice Chamber of Commerce, Eunice Community Garden, and her position on The 91看片 Foundation Board are examples of her commitment to actively engaging with the community and contributing to its welfare. Additionally, her initiative in co-founding scholarships for non-traditional college nursing students and high school students focused on community involvement and volunteerism reflects her dedication to nurturing the next generation of compassionate and engaged individuals. Lizzy and her husband, Willie, reside in Richard and share eight children - and six grandchildren.

Jeffrey joined NeunerPate in 2009, and he is currently a partner, serving on the firm鈥檚 four-person management committee.

Jeff's primary areas of practice include admiralty and maritime, toxic tort and mass tort litigation, accident investigation, environmental litigation and regulatory matters (federal and state), commercial/business matters, and real property disputes. He has successfully represented clients in a broad range of matters including: Jones Act and General Maritime Law claims; asbestos/hazardous material exposures cases; catastrophic accident investigations; state and federal regulatory compliance and investigations (e.g., MSHA, OSHA, LDNR, LDEQ); environmental contamination/legacy, well blowouts, and mass tort suits; aviation matters (fixed and rotary wing); commercial/business disputes and general advice; disputes involving immovable property and related access rights (e.g., servitudes/easements, boundary disputes, passage/access, and agriculture/timber rights); and election law.

Jeff is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Louisiana, including the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.  He formerly served as Magistrate Judge for the City of Carencro and is former City Attorney for the Town of Washington.

Jeff has been happily married since 2010, and he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two boys. Raised in Ville Platte, Louisiana, Jeff enjoys almost all outdoor activities, including: hunting, fishing, hiking, CrossFit, snow skiing and coaching his boys鈥� sports teams. He is also active in several local non-profits and a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Angel鈥檚 Church.

Celeste Dossmann Gomez is a resident of Eunice, Louisiana.  Gomez is an alumna of LSU Eunice where she began her college studies in 1977 and LSU Baton Rouge, where she earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in health and physical education in 1981.  She was a faculty member and coach at St. Edmund School in Eunice for ten years.

Celeste held the position of Executive Director for the St. Landry Parish Tourist Commission from 1997 until retiring in 2019.  During that time, she led the effort in marketing and positioning St. Landry Parish as a leading tourist destination.   She also served as President and Treasurer of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association, now LTA.  Celeste continues to serve as Member-at-Large of the Louisiana Tourism Development Commission. 

Currently, Celeste is a board member of the Association for the Liberty Theatre of Eunice and member of the Bulb & Blossom Garden Club, Cajun Prairie Habitat Preservation Society, and Petals of Mercy Theresian Community.  She and her husband, Jaime, are owners of Excel Fire Protection Systems Ltd. and are proud parents of two sons and three grandchildren.

Michael J. LeJeune is the current Chief Executive Officer for Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. With over 18 years of healthcare experience, Michael began his career as a paramedic at Acadian Ambulance, obtained a degree in nursing, then served as an Emergency Room Nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, Director of Education and Clinical Manager for a remote occupational medical company, XstremeMD, and a hospice nurse for Hospice of Acadiana.  While working as a hospice nurse, he completed his MBA, where he transitioned, from clinical to business, by becoming the Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO of Hospice of Acadiana.

A native of Roberts Cove, Michael and his wife, Lainie, currently reside in Lafayette, with plans to move back to Acadia parish. He earned his Associate of Science Degree from LSU-Eunice and a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Nursing, as well as his MBA, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Michael is involved in business and civic organizations such as OneAcadiana, Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, the Roberts Cove Germanfest Association, and now, the 91看片 Foundation Board.

Alicia Mire is a proud alumna of LSU Eunice and UL Lafayette, currently serving as the Tourism and Main Street Director for the City of Eunice and Community Liaison for St. Landry Parish Government. With over 15 years of experience in economic development, event planning, and community revitalization, she has led initiatives that strengthen rural business, grow tourism, and foster regional collaboration. Alicia is a former President and current board member of the Eunice Chamber of Commerce, and she was appointed to the Louisiana Economic Development Partnership Board, where she represents the interests of small towns and rural communities across the state. Her role on the LSU Eunice Foundation Board reflects her commitment to expanding access to education and driving long-term growth throughout St. Landry Parish and beyond.

Deborah Murrell, a native of Egan, Louisiana, is the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Th膿 Bank and its holding company, Th膿 Bancshares, Inc. of Jennings, Louisiana.  Deborah is also the Secretary of the Th膿 Bancshares, Inc. Board of Directors. Deborah joined Th膿 Bank/Th膿 Bancshares in April of 2000 as CFO and became an Executive Vice President in 2008. As a member of Senior Management Deborah is actively involved in establishing and maintaining bank policy and is a primary contact of the institution with outside regulatory bodies and critical vendors. Deborah also holds the title of Cashier and Information Technology Officer of The Bank.  She chairs the board鈥檚 Asset & Liability Committee, the IT Committee and is a member of the insurance committee.

Prior to entering the banking industry, Deborah was the CFO of two jointly held oilfield service corporations, Miller & Associates, DFC Inc. and MSD, Inc., both Louisiana Corporations.  Miller & Associates provided independent drilling fluid analysis and independent drilling fluid consultants primarily in the Gulf of Mexico.  MSD, Inc. provided reinjection of drilling fluid slurry into the earth to eliminate offsite disposal of hazardous materials and eliminated cradle to grave environmental liability.  MSD, Inc. was based in the United States and operated a wholly owned subsidiary in Norway with service operations in the North Sea, United Kingdom, Venezuela and Nigeria.  MSD, Inc. was acquired by Brandt/Tuboscope now NOV Inc. in 1998. Deborah transitioned to Gulf Coast Manager with Tuboscope managing the financial information and reporting of 13 U.S. Locations.

Deborah is a 1993 cum laude graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting and a 2018 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. Deborah graduated from Iota High School in 1981 and attended Louisiana State University in Eunice from January 1989 until December 1990.

Outside of banking, Deborah sits on the Finance Committee of St. Francis School of Iota and St. Joseph of Iota Parish which includes St. Michael Chapel of Egan.  She is also the trustee of St. Michael Chapel of Egan with the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana. Deborah was born and raised in Egan, Louisiana; the daughter of a rice and soybean farmer.

Deborah and her husband Jeff continue to reside in Egan.  They are the proud parents of six children and seventeen grandchildren.

Born and raised in Opelousas, Robbie attended Opelousas Catholic and LSU Eunice before completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at LSU in 1994. He furthered his education by graduating from Loyola University with a Master鈥檚 in Business Administration (MBA) in 1996 and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2011.

Prior to his career in banking, Robbie spent 20 years working for Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville in New Orleans in various roles. He then worked for Hancock Whitney Bank for 6 years at their New Orleans regional headquarters before moving back to Opelousas and joining St. Landry Bank in 2020. Robbie served as Chief Administrative Officer for the bank until 2022 when he became CEO. Robbie is extremely proud to be among the 4th generation of his family serving St. Landry Bank and the community.

Beyond the bank, Robbie is deeply involved in his local community. He has served on the boards of various civic organizations and non-profits, such as Vision St. Landry, Opelousas Main Street, and Kiwanis Club of Opelousas, where he was a former President of the club, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact. In banking, he serves on the boards of St. Landry Bank, St. Landry Bancshares, and Financial Institution Services Corporation.

One of his most proud achievements is his marriage to Addy Morales for 29 years. Addy is a Public Defender in Jefferson Parish, and together they have two sons, Bobby who works at the bank in Human Resources and Victor who lives in Houston and works for the accounting and auditing firm, Deloitte.

Robbie values his commitment to his family and splits his time between Opelousas and New Orleans. He is also an amateur musician and plays tennis in his spare time. He is passionate about his commitment to the community, grateful for his friends and family, and is proud to be a member of the team at St. Landry Bank.

On a personal note, Robbie says his favorite activities are playing tennis as often as his schedule will allow and recording guitar in his makeshift home studio.

A commitment to community service was instilled in Mary Werner as a young child. She is proud to have served on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society (Calcasieu Area), Art Associates of Lake Charles, Education and Treatment Council/Harbor House, Louisiana Preservation Alliance, Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, Lake Charles Civic Ballet, Children's Museum of Southwest Louisiana, Imperial Calcasieu Museum and the Louisiana Center for Women in Government. She was also a founding director of the Family Foundation of Southwest Louisiana, supporting the Family and Youth Counseling Agency in Lake Charles. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana and Second Harvest Food Bank.

Werner is also very involved with her children's schools, volunteering in several capacities. She served as a trustee, board chair and Capital and Annual Fund campaign chair for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Currently, she is a trustee of Ascension Episcopal School in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she has served as Board Vice-Chair and Chair.

Werner grew up in Leesville, Louisiana, where she graduated from Leesville High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Brenau Women's College in Georgia. She is the proud parent of three children.

Wade Rousse serves as the 29th President of Louisiana State University. An accomplished economist and higher-education leader, Dr. Rousse brings extensive experience in academic administration, economics research and private sector management to Louisiana鈥檚 flagship university system.

Prior to joining LSU, Dr. Rousse served as the 8th President of McNeese State University, where he led a campus-wide turnaround following years of enrollment decline and the disruption of major natural disasters.  He emphasized shared governance, transparent communication, and measurable outcomes as he led efforts to improve recruitment and retention.   Under Rousse鈥檚 leadership, McNeese reversed a 14-year enrollment decline, including a 13% increase in first-time freshmen, and achieved full occupancy in campus housing for the first time in more than two decades.

Before becoming President, Dr. Rousse served as the McNeese鈥檚 Executive Vice President, Vice President for University Advancement, and Dean of the College of Business. He consolidated seven separate units into a modern Office of Advancement - integrating athletics, alumni relations, and fundraising - to build new revenue and engagement strategies. Under his leadership, McNeese Foundation assets grew from $95 million to $130 million, and his team raised more than $40 million in new philanthropic support. He also secured an $8 million public-private partnership to establish the university鈥檚 Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Center of Excellence and advanced major corporate partnership and facility naming initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Rousse held academic leadership and research roles at Northern Arizona University and served as a policy research specialist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, focusing on U.S. payment systems and financial market dynamics.

Dr. Rousse began his career in the private sector, working his way from blue-collar laborer to partner and co-founder of a successful marine logistics firm in Louisiana.  He later founded a successful alternative investment company.

A first-generation college graduate and Louisiana native, Dr. Rousse earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago, an MBA from the University of New Orleans, and a B.S. in Business from Nicholls State University. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money and Sustainability. He is a member of the American Economic Association, Western Economic Association International, and the Financial Management Association International.

Dr. Sorenson joined 91看片 (91看片) in June of 2019. She has an expansive career in higher education and previously served in executive and leadership positions in Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida, in Tucson, Arizona at Pima Community College and at the IVTC Community College system in Indiana. Dr. Sorenson鈥檚 career focuses on student learning and advocacy, workforce and economic development, enrollment management and leading strategic initiatives.

Dr. Sorenson鈥檚 guiding principle is that 鈥渢wo year colleges create opportunities to upward mobility for every citizen鈥�. Recent work that demonstrates her dedication to this is: the selection of 91看片 as one of seven two year colleges in the country to be selected by Achieving The Dream 鈩� as a Rural Cohort Institute to prepare citizens for The Future of Work; serving on the Executive Council of the Louisiana MJ Foster Promise Program, the selection of 91看片 as a 2021 Awardee of the Delta Regional Workforce Foundation; leading the continued expansion of Allied Health Programs with major healthcare providers in the Acadiana area, facilitating expanded partnerships with local school districts, and fostering a campus wide culture focused on student success.

Active in the community locally and nationally, she serves on the Senate District 28 Advisory Committee for Senator Heather Cloud, Commission on Women鈥檚 Policy and Research, as a board member for Acadian Medical Center, Vision St. Landry of the St. Landry Economic Development District, the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce, the Eunice Chamber of Commerce, the Acadiana Planning Commission, One Acadiana, Ellevate Louisiana and a board member of the Higher Education Research, Development and Innovation (HERDI) South Board. She is a member of the National Board of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). She completed the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Agency Counseling at Indiana State University and holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

She is the proud mother Sarah Lile and Eric Sorenson and grandmother to Carter and Addison Lile.

Dr. Stephen Guempel has been a tireless advocate for LSU Eunice since his arrival as a faculty member in 1976.  Dr. Guempel was instrumental in the creation of intercollegiate athletic programs on campus, beginning with women鈥檚 basketball and baseball during the 1999-2000 academic year. 

He joined the 91看片 community in 1976, spending 36 years at the institution.  During his time at 91看片, Dr. Guempel has served as a faculty member, Division Head of Liberal Arts, and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.  He retired from 91看片 on June 29, 2012 and currently holds the titles of Professor Emeritus of Speech and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Emeritus.  In 2012, he became the second inductee into the 91看片 Athletics Hall of Fame. 

Some of Stephen鈥檚 accomplishments at 91看片 include chairing the committee to implement intercollegiate athletics; successfully leading the campus in the SACS-COC reaffirmation of accreditation; establishing new off-campus instructional sites and electronic learning; developing and implementing new associate degree programs; coordinating the development of student learning outcomes in general education courses and associate degree programs; and chairing a campus strategic planning committee. 

A native of Missouri, moved to Eunice, Louisiana with his wife, Martha, in January 1976.  They have four children and ten grandchildren.  He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (1986) and Master of Arts (1975) in Speech from LSU.  In 1972, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a major in Speech from Southeast Missouri State University.
